FIRST FRIDAY AT THE GALLERY

The gallery opens a new exhibit the first Friday of every month with a reception to meet the featured artist. Gallery Uptown is located at 201 Washington Ave., Downtown Grand Haven. Reception is held from 5:30-8:30pm; call the Gallery Uptown at (616) 846-5460.

TRI-CITIES EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

Mulligan's Hollow Ski Lodge. Picnic activities include a concert, sing along magician, activities & information on water quality, conservation, local foods, tree planting; local teen bands will play original Earth Day songs & more. Family picnic runs from 1 - 3pm, Teen Bands "Earth Stomp" 3-6pm. This is a free event for the whole family.

CURATOR’S CHOICE MOVIE NIGHT

Tri-Cities Museum’s Curator invitees you to share an old time movie every 4th Wednesday of the month. Call for the name of the featured movie. CENTRAL PARK PLAYERS PRESENTS NEIL SIMON'S "PLAZA SUITE"

In each of the tree acts, differnt characters inhabit Suite 719 in New York City's Plaza Hotel. A not-so-happy couple tries to recapture marital bliss in the first act, a former movie producer tries to seduce an old flame in the second act, and a nervous bride-to-be locks herself in the bathroom in the final act. Long a favorite with theater-goers, Plaza Suite ran on Broadway for 1,097 performances. Time of Event: 8pm; Sunday matinee 2pm. Location: Grand Haven Area Arts Council building, 1045 Columbus Ave, Grand Haven. Ticket Prices: $14 adults; $11 seniors 64 & over, students 18 and under.
