FIRST FRIDAY AT THE GALLERY

The gallery opens a new exhibit the first Friday of every month with a reception to meet the featured artist. Gallery Uptown is located at 201 Washington Ave., Downtown Grand Haven. Reception is held from 5:30-8:30pm; call the Gallery Uptown at (616) 846-5460.

BURGERS ON THE BOWL - MULLIGAN'S HOLLOW SKI LODGE

Mulligan's Hollow Ski Bowl, 11-3pm, Cost is $10 per person or $40 per family. Burgers/hotdogs, pop, chips and cookies! Akiing/snowboarding begins at 1pm. Cost includes all-day lift ticket. CURATOR’S CHOICE MOVIE NIGHT

Tri-Cities Museum’s Curator invitees you to share an old time movie every 4th Wednesday of the month. Call for the name of the featured movie. WINTERFEST

Thursday night $1 dollar Lift Ticket to Ski & free skate at Mulligan's Hollow Ski Bowl from 5 - 8pm. Family activities including Children's Creation Center at Lakeshore Mddle School from 2-5pm, 3pm a Race of Kings Hamster/Gerbil race. Winter sporting events such as Snowboarding and ski competition, cardboard tobaggan race and Polar Ice Cap Golf Tournament. Euchre Tournament at the Elks Club. PHOTO & POSTER CONTEST RECEPTION FOR WINTERFEST

Tri-Cities Historical Museum. View photos and posters submitted for the Winterfest contest. Winners will be awarded prizes. Light refreshments served. Oopen to the public. Reception is hosted by the Tri-Cities Historial Museum at 200 Washington Ave. from 6:30 - 8:30pm.

PIGEON CREEK BIATHLON

Pigeon Creek Park located on Stanton Street. Registration is held from 7:30am - 8:30am and the event starts at 9am. The runners will run on the county road and then ski on the park's south side groomed trails. Cost is $15 until January 19 and $20 for late registration. In case of poor snow conditions, the race will be a 10k foo race on the same course. Prizes will be awarded for top relay teams, top three overall individuals and age group winners. WINTERFEST LUAU

Grand Haven Municipal Parking Lot. Come enjoy Caribbean sounds found at the Winterfest Luau. Luau runs from 7pm - Midnight. Use your music pass for free admission or pay $8 at the door.

Sunday, Jan 27

POLAR ICE CAP GOLF TOURNAMENT

Spring Lake Petty's Bayou. Nine hole golf course set up on frozen bayou. Play 9 or 18 holes using 5, 7, & 9 irons and a putter. Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and Grand Haven Area Jaycees.
