Desperados on horseback, brandishing six-shooters and a total disrespect for others will stop, then rob the train! Dance hall girls swoon! Riders aboard the train are “robbed” of their Railroad Dollars and jewelry during this spirited venture into the past. Will the “good-guys” arrive in time to thwart the plan? This is an annual fundraiser for West Michigan Sheriff’s Posse member. Caution: loud, similar to fireworks, will occur adjacent to the train during the robbery. GRAND HAVEN "Y" TRIATHlON AND DUATHLON (IN HONOR OF TONY THOMPSON) This multi-sport event has something for everyone. A sprint distance triathlon consisting of a 500 meter swim, 20k bike and 5k run. An olympic distance triathlon of 1.5k swim, 40k bike and 10k run and a sprint distance duathlon of a 5k run, 20k bike and 5k run. The swim takes place in Lake Michigan along the clean sandy beach by Grand Haven State Park. The transition area is set up at the Mulligan's Hollow Park, adjacent to the Tri-Cities Family YMCA.
