The communities of Ferrysburg, Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Township, and Grand Haven Township all have a common goal: to provide an excellent quality of life for their residents in a safe, stable environment. The governments of all five municipalities are progressive and alert to the needs of their residents. |

| The City of Ferrysburg is the smallest municipality of the Tri-Cities. It was formed in 1963 when the residents, then part of Spring Lake Township, voted to incorporate as a city. Ferrysburg is governed on the city-manager system with a city council headed by the mayor. |

| Spring
Lake Village is located across from Ferrysburg on the east side of lovely, spring-fed Spring Lake. It was founded as Mill Point in 1864 and incorporated under its present name in 1867. It has a village-manager form of government with a village president who sits on the seven-member council. |
