Education
Grand Haven Area Public Schools provides each student - child through adult - with a positive learning environment. Students are thus allowed to experience success, prepared for the challenges of a changing global society, and encouraged to realize his or her full potential. The district has 9 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, and 1
high school, serving approximately 6,000 students in a 100-square mile area.
Spring Lake Public Schools
Spring Lake Public Schools are also committed to the goal of having each student perform at his or her highest possible academic level. With approximately 2,000 students, the district is small enough to offer all students the opportunity to participate in the extracurricular activities of their choice, yet large enough to offer all of the programs traditionally offered by larger school systems. Spring Lake's
two K-5 buildings were renovated in 1991 and high school was newly built in
2001.
