The Bicycle Museum

Bicycle museum featuring pre-war streamline art deco bicycles from the 30's and beyond. The Bowden bicycle built in Grand Haven. Located at 119 Washington Avenue in downtown Grand Haven. (616) 842-1418.

 

Coopersville Farm Museum

375 Main Street, Coopersville, (616) 997-8555 A celebration of agriculture!  Rotating and permanent exhibits feature various aspects of agriculture, comparing and contrasting old vs. new equipment and implements, home arts and more!  Hands on interactive, educational and FUN exhibits!  Children's area features corn shucking, grinding, crafts and rope making.  Seasonal hours.  Group tours, meeting and banquet facilities.  Handicap Accessible.

 

Grand Haven Lighthouses

Established in 1839, two lights on the south pier, both painted red, are connected by a lighted catwalk that also connects them to the shore and the Boardwalk. The inner light is cylindrical and the square outer light stands on a huge concrete foundation. On pleasant days, people stroll the boardwalk that borders the Grand River channel and the pier. The U.S. Coast Guard Station-Grand Haven is responsible for maintaining this light and 15 lighthouses on the West Michigan lakeshore. Harbourfront Place

A marketplace in a renovated century old piano factory. Shopping, dining, and gathering place. Located at Harbor and Washington, Grand Haven.

 

Pere Marquette Train Engine #1223

Preservation is currently underway to restore this magnificent steam locomotive that operated the Chicago-Grand Rapids-Detroit line during the 1940's. This is a unique opportunity to show our children and grandchildren the historic steam locomotive. Located on Harbor Drive near First Street, in downtown Grand Haven. Tri-Cities Historical Museum

Two locations in the downtown retail district, one housed in the original 1870 Grand Trunk Railroad Depot, the other in the newly renovated Akeley Building, constructed in 1871. Exhibits range from Coast Guard and maritime to Michigan geology, Native American, the fur trade and lumbering eras. Museum Gift Shop, filled with unique Great Lakes and Michigan-related items, at each location. 200 Washington Avenue and One North Harbor Dr., Grand Haven. (616) 842-0700.
