Imagine
relaxing while sitting on the front porch watching the boat traffic of
the Grand Haven Channel and/or people watching on the “never boring” boardwalk
with a view of the lighthouse from both the porch and the upper balcony. There
are only five private cottages that are part of the Grand Haven Cottages
on Harbor Avenue and
this particular Cottage has many upgraded features. This elegantly
appointed, finely furnished, and professionally decorated space features
over 2000 square feet, 3 bedrooms (master
bedroom with king bed, second floor bedroom with balcony and magnificent
views has a queen bed, and third large bedroom has 2 extra long twin
beds as well as an extra long daybed/with trundle). The master
bedroom has a private master bath with shower, sinks, toilet and bidet. The
upstairs bedroom has a large double sink area with separated bath/shower. There
is also an additional ½ bath on the main floor giving this cottage
2 ½ baths overall. If you have extra guests or a large
group, a detached poolside Cabana can also be rented. The Cabana
has a bedroom with a queen size bed and private bath, as well as a
kitchenette and living room. Both the Cottage and the Cabana
are decorated with designer furniture, the Cottage has a large open
kitchen with granite counter tops, and custom cabinetry. Both
the Cottage and Cabana are air conditioned, offer cable TV, plush towels
and linens are provided. The Cottage has a washer and dryer and
a gas grill. Imagine the perfect family vacation sitting in your
chair on the porch and enjoying the Grand Haven nightly summer musical
fountain. This location is centrally located for strolling down
the boardwalk to the beach, shops, restaurants, charter fishing, and
marina. The Grand Haven Cottages has a private outdoor pool and
fire pit. This is the second summer the cottages are completed
and ready for occupancy. The
Cottage sleeps up to 8 and the Cabana can sleep 2 additional people. This
Cottage is available weekly starting in May 2007. Peak
season rates (June-August) are $2,600 per week. Coast Guard and
4th of
July weeks are $3,500. The Cabana is $700 additional per week. Terms
are 50% down to confirm reservation. A refundable damage deposit
of $450 and cleaning fee of $100 required. Sorry, no smoking
or pets. Saturday to Saturday rental.
