WorkKeys helps employers identify skills needed for specific jobs, and allows them to evaluate skills of current and/or prospective employees. In addition, WorkKeys is a valuable tool when determining hiring qualifications and training needs.
Training Commections is available to assist with WorkKeys job analysis and WorkKeys testing assessments for area employers. Job analysis is conducted through a certified "WorkKeys Estimator" who works in close contact with company managers and incumbent workers to observe and evaluate required skill levels for specific jobs.
WorkKeys testing is coordinated through a Training Connections representative, and may take place on-site at the employer's facility or off-site at another location. When conducted in tandem, WorkKeys job analysis and testing provides employes with valuable information about their required skills vs. current workforce skills, and any gaps that need to be addressed through training or other workforce development programs.
WorkKeys is also directly aligned with the National Career Readiness Certificatre (NCRC), a nationally-recognized high school graduation credential that represents students' readiness for entry into the workplace. Employers are strongly encouraged to familizrize themselves with WorkKeys and the NCRC in order to be better-prepared to evaluate job applicants in the future. ![]() |
